On Running’s latest addition to their PAD (Performance All Day) collection comes by way of the Cloudnova Z5, which looks to be a mash-up of the Swiss brand’s tech-laden, experimental performance runners and more wearable, aesthetically appealing design sensibilities.
Designed in Zurich, and named after Zurich District 5 (Z5), the sneaker combines the commonplace PAD sole unit from other Cloudnova models, while the upper is taken from a high-spec racing shoe called “Cloudflash” - it’s easy to see how this fusion would result in a sneaker wearable on the streets for any application.
The Cloudnova Z5 releases May 27 through On Running’s web store and select retailers.
