The Corteiz Air Max 95 SP London pop up was actually mad

Last week, Corteiz announced its pop up that was essentially holding a big fat middle finger to resellers, and this Saturday Clint made sure everyone got their hands on some of those Nike Air Max 95 SPs… well as long as stock lasted at least.

Taking over a spot in London, the event was packed with queues of people extending around the block, which isn’t unusual for the streetwear brand that has basically revived hype culture. Inside, Corteiz’ community was able to get their hands on a pair of sneakers for just £110, as opposed to the reselling prices that go up to £500 and above.

The pop-up also had other ready-to-wear pieces like some Nike x Corteiz tees with a typical London remix of the slogan, seen as “Dun It”. For real though, Corteiz has really dun it when it comes to stepping up as the new hype-generating post-Supreme position holder.

Now known as the “Corteiz effect”, Clint didn’t just create a brand with Corteiz but an entire subculture, and a determined one at that. From Paris to New York, and of course London, it seems as though each time Corteiz comes out with anything, the entire city goes feral for it.

Safe to say, Corteiz truly does run the streets and rules the world.
