When The Bear hit our screens back in 2022, it got the world hooked – not only for its intense, 10/10 storyline, but bc those fits go crazy. Yeah, this series is about the Chicago food scene, but first and foremost this is a fashion show. Every character has their story told through their garments; their histories and personalities are illustrated through their fashion sense. From Sydney’s Chicago-native IYKYK details like old Bulls tees, her huge bandana collection, and her custom Thom Browne uniform to Carmy selling his Levi’s 1944 big E redline selvedge jeans to settle his family’s debts in the pilot episode. Costume designer Courtney Wheeler really knows what she’s doing, encapsulating the culture’s fashion obsessions (especially in Chicago) – using brands like Kapital, Bode and hyper-niche plain T-shirt brands to bring these characters to life.
In light of the fourth season dropping very soon (June 25th to be exact), these are the hardest pieces we’ve spotted on The Bear (so far).
1. Sydney’s custom Thom Browne uniform

2. Carmy’s NN07 jacket

3. Sydney’s Paloma Wool jacket from season 1

4. Richie’s Hugo Boss suit in season 2

5. Sydney’s Bode T-shirt

6. Marcus’s entire sneaker collection, these are New Balance x Aimé Leon Dore

7. Sydney’s bandana collection, this is Kapital

6. Luca’s T-shirts are from Japanese brand The Strike Gold

7. And Carmy’s from German label Merz b. Schwanen

8. Sydney’s vintage Chicago Bulls T-shirt
