Last week, Rick Owens celebrated the opening of his new retrospective exhibition, “Temple of Love” at Paris’ Palais Galliera, straight after his SS26 show with the same name. If you’re in Paris this summer, you need to hit that up – it includes archive Rick pieces, old mood boards and references, and a life-size sculpture of him taking a piss.
Right there and then, at his exhibition’s opening party, was where the Lord of Darkness decided to announce that he’s heading up new ventures: an OnlyFans account dedicated to his feet pics. The designer was allegedly inspired by the Countess of Castiglione, a 19th-century aristocrat, who after having had her photo taken so many times throughout her life, she felt old, so then she gave up and only took pictures of her feet. “This is all about my own negotiations with self display, vanity and ageing,” he said.
As of today, the account is live. Rick Owens just posted it on his IG story. You can get a subscription for just $5 a month; 100% of the proceeds will be going to raise funds for the Allanah Foundation (an organisation created by Allanah Starr to provide scholarships and mentorship programs to emerging artists, especially in marginalised groups).
