Yesterday Miu Miu posted its “Individual Moments” campaign, the second look at its FW24 collection first debuted in Paris which is now finally available to shop, and it stars some familiar faces. Here’s what you need to know about Miu Miu’s “Individual Moments” campaign.
As was also the case at Miu Miu’s FW24 show, the campaign is aiming to reflect a wardrobe built from clothing of different levels of maturity and formality. Miuccia Prada was inspired by the idea of borrowing clothes, resulting in a look that merges childhood with maturity, masculine with feminine, and formality with informality.
Within the campaign itself, it's not hard to spot Ethel Cain, Charlotte Cardin, Cara Delevingne, MINNIE, Little Simz and Caitlin Soetendal, who are all featured wearing Miu Miu’s FW24 collection, but behind the scenes you might not have realised that the brand also enlisted photographer Zoë Ghertner, who’s worked with Miu Miu before and is known for her soft, raw, and human approach to campaigns.
Behind the scenes, Edward Quarmby, who’s also worked with Alexander McQueen, Bottega Veneta, and Louis Vuitton, was behind the creative direction of the campaign. And styling was done by Lotta Volkova, the stylist who’s self-described her taste as being “fun, free, fluid, [and] sassy.”
We also saw another familiar face in the campaign in the form of Miu Miu x New Balance’s viral sneakers, juxtaposing the femininity of the collection with its sportswear edge. Now available in black calf-leather, the new addition to Miu Miu x New Balance’s collaboration is elevated yet wearable.
