Reebok and Helen Kirkum have collaborated yet again to reimagine Reebok’s Zig Kinetica II for SS21.

All produced in Kirkum’s East London studio, the sneakers are made from repurposed old Reebok shoes. Only 20 pairs of the sneakers will be released to the public. Each pair is unique due to Kirkum’s signature upcycling technique. Sadly, for sneakerheads or anyone wanting to get their hands on them, the shoe will drop only in one size being UK8/US9/EU42 size.

Kirkum and Reebok’s collaborations date back to 2019, when the two came together to focus on recreating the Sole Fury. Using Kirkum’s signature ‘sneaker collaging’ techniques, the first shoes produced also used repurposed Reebok sneakers. Some of the shoes used in the process includes the Ventilator, the Instapump Fury, the Opus 3D and more.

When scooping this new collaborative sneaker, you’ll also get an exclusive magazine which details the artist’s creative process. The 20 pairs will be released February 25 at 3PM (GMT) on helenkirkumzig.com for £350 (approx $490USD).
