"I always knew I was different": Chy Cartier talks manifestation and JD's holiday campaign

From North London to the world, Chy Cartier is proof that manifestation works. We linked up with Chy for JD’s 2025 Christmas campaign, “Where are you going?”, to find out how she got here and where she’s planning on going next.

For its holiday campaign, JD has enlisted celebrities who are shaping culture through their hard work, talent, and manifestation to drill home the message that where you’re going next is up to you. You can lay the groundwork for your own journey and shape exactly where you end up, and these celebrities are proof of that.

That’s exactly what 20-year-old Chy Cartier did at the start of her career when she was growing up in North London, imagining a career as a global music artist. Years down the line, with multiple viral tracks under her belt, Chy is dubbed one of the UK’s hottest emerging talents right now, and it’s because she believed she could get here.

As JD’s marketing director, Nellie Corrie explained, “Young people today don’t need to be told who they are, they’re already showing us. JD’s ‘Where are you going?’ isn’t about them, it’s made by them.” The brand’s holiday campaign reinforces that ideology, linking up with the likes of Chy Cartier, Cole Palmer, Nemzzz, Jade Thirlwall, and more to empower you to kickstart your own journey.

Keep reading to find out the advice Chy had for us when we linked up with her to talk about JD’s campaign and the message behind it.
