Having become the style icon that she is, all eyes were on Doechii for her Met Gala debut this year and, as always, she didn’t disappoint.
She showed out in a full Louis Vuitton look, working closely with creative director Pharrell Williams to bring this look to life. In typical Black Dandy fashion, she opted for a custom white tuxedo jacket with an LV monogram print that had some bootleg Dapper Dan vibes written all over it. She paired it with oversized pleated shorts with the Damier checkerboard, clashing patterns in a tasteful yet disruptive way. She topped the look off with burgundy mary jane shoes with a chunky rubber sole, a matching burgundy silk tie and a white LV belt with a blinging gold buckle. Don’t forget the LV logo on her cheek (shoutout the glam team) and the cigar she’s holding - a paid actor fr.
She’s been prepping for this moment this past week, paying homage to the late Andre Leon Talley with her recreation of his iconic photo where he’s carrying several Louis Vuitton accessories and bags.
No one’s doing it like Doechii.
