Twenty-two year old musician Deyaz is bringing his alternative music style to mainstream fashion, through a pending partnership with none other than Dr. Martens. Whilst typically a musician in his day to day life, multi-instrumentalist artist Deyaz is partnering up with Dr. Martens for the brand’s annually anticipated summer drop.

Dr. Martens has always followed the beat of the music industry, collaborating and working with various artists from popular culture to underground sub-genres throughout the sixty years since it was founded. Now, this summer, the brand is teaming up with emerging, London-based musician Deyaz for a two-part mini-doc porting the vibrant musical bloodline running through the iconic city of London and through Dr. Martens itself.

Since the times when he used to roam the buzzing streets of Camden as a busker, Deyaz has always been at home in a pair of DMs, hence his natural pairing with the brand. The brand’s new campaign shows images of Deyaz dressed in Dr. Martens’ soon-to-be-released summer collection, aka the Carrara pack, a collection inspired by bold, festival styles and relaxed, summery aesthetics which features both the 1461 and Adrian silhouettes.

Deyaz’s unconventional approach to music is something Dr. Martens’ vibes with in particular. As a brand led by free thinkers, creatives, and subcultures, Dr. Martens is always looking to the next generation of emerging artists for inspiration; this summer, Deyaz has taken centre-stage. Keep eye out for Dr. Martens’ pending summer drop as well as the two-part mini-docs set to be released soon.
