Travis Scott at Vetements, Ye's new music, & more good sh*t this week

This week’s been a mad one, with the finalé of Paris Fashion Week, a ton of new link ups, and a whole lot of campaigns dropping too. From CELINE’s new campaign starring Lila Moss and a collaboration between Arsenal and Aries, to the runway cameos we can’t stop thinking about, here’s all the good sh*t we spotted this week.

Willem Dafoe returned to the runway at Miu Miu

This season we saw quite a few familiar faces on the runway at Miu Miu, from Little Simz to Amelia Gray, but few of us expected to see Oscar-winning actor Willem Dafoe close the show of all people. This actually isn’t Defoe’s first runway, having walked at Prada’s “Villains” Menswear show in 2020 as well as a few others. Turns out Willem Dafoe is a fan of Miu Miu too, and we’re here for it.

CELINE enlisted Lila Moss for its latest campaign

CELINE has had a crazy week, announcing the departure of Hedi Slimane and introducing its next Creative Director, Michael Rider in the space of literally a day. But fashion doesn’t stop for anything, so the campaigns keep coming. For CELINE’s Women Summer 2025 campaign, titled 'Un Été Français’, the house linked up with Lila Moss who was shot and styled by Hedi Slimane himself, in what was likely his last ever piece of content for the house.

Ye announced his next album and teased the first track

This week, at a listening event in China, Ye announced the upcoming release of his new album, titled Bully, and teased one of the tracks on the album, debuting “Beauty and the Beast.” With Ye fans hitting up social media to listen to clips of the track posted by those in attendance, the overwhelming consensus is that the old Kanye might be back. With a vibey beat and catchy tune, “Beauty and the Beast” doesn’t have a release date yet, but it's already a fan favourite.

Travis Scott walked at Vetements SS25 show

For SS25, Vetements’ Creative Director Guram Gvasalia enlisted rapper Travis Scott to walk in a full leather look, and the internet broke in reaction. Travis Scott has walked the runway before… or we guess you could say he skipped down the runway at the Spring 2015 Mark McNairy show, but undeniably his walk this season for Vetements was a whole lot colder.

Arsenal linked up with Aries for a footy-themed collab

Aries’ latest collaboration takes it to the pitch, linking up with Arsenal for the football club’s first ever independent streetwear partnership. Designing a collection that brings together the worlds of football, fashion, and culture, the collaboration has enlisted a number of players for Arsenal FC, including Martin Odegaard, Alessia Russo, Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice and Beth Mead, to feature in its campaign.

Les Benjamins is elevating punk for Fall 2024

Les Benjamins has been inspired by Turkey’s punk scene for its Fall 2024 collection, a drop that weaves the history and rebellion of the punk movement with the intricacies of Turkish heritage and culture. Ornate patterned pieces are contrasted with a grungy, punk palette, seen in denim sets, leather jackets, pleated kilts, and more. As Creative Director Bünyamin Aydin said: “I wanted to reintroduce these Turkish cultural treasures to the youth.”

Burberry got technical with its new lab-grown scarf

Burberry’s Shield Scarf is not just a regular scarf: it's actually lab-grown. Using the innovative technology which developed the groundbreaking new material, Brewed ProteinTM fibre, Burberry has managed to create a woven scarf made from 62% wool, 8% cashmere and 30% Brewed ProteinTM: a lab-grown fibre that is produced through the fermentation of plant-based, renewable ingredients.

Jil Sander brought a cool, clean energy to FW24

Jil Sander has delivered on its typical modern, elevated style in its new Fall 2024 collection, a drop that builds on the minimalist aesthetic and high craftsmanship of its Creative Directors Lucie and Luke Meier’s ethos. Rooted in the concept of modern luxury, the new collection reveals both mens and womenswear including ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, and accessories.

Lee and Stutterheim are getting wet weather ready

Lee has linked up with raincoat brand Stutterheim to drop the only capsule collection you need for staying dry this fall. Blending Lee’s heritage with the technical expertise of Stutterheim’s products, the collection reveals seven pieces spanning menswear, womenswear, and accessories all designed specifically with wet weather in mind.

A closer look at the pending Martine Rose x Clarks collab

Martine Rose’s long-awaited link up with Clarks for FW24 is almost here. Titled “Coming up Roses,” the collaboration has had us all patiently waiting since it was first teased, and whilst it’s the second season Martine Rose has linked up with Clarks, the hype around the drop is no smaller. Keep an eye out for more on the release, coming soon.

Tommy Hilfiger linked up with Lucien Laviscount

Tommy Hilfiger just made British actor Lucien Laviscount its new brand ambassador for the Fall Winter 2024 Men’s Watch and Jewellery collection campaign, linking up for a VIP launch to celebrate the collab. Hitting up Soho House on Greek Street, the brand hosted an array of famous faces, with Laviscount saying: “When a look makes you feel empowered, it can influence everything you do that day.”
