We invited London’s It-girls to celebrate CultedXO’s launch, powered by Mercedes-Benz

Last week, we took over The Maine, Mayfair to mark the launch of CultedXO, Culted’s sister-brand. The night was powered by Mercedes-Benz, who ensured guests arrived in style.

Designed for a non-male audience, CultedXO is about handing the mic to the talented trendsetters and disruptors who really are the future of the creative industry. CultedXO is a place where women and non-male individuals can see their work in the spotlight, and hear their thoughts echoed back to them.

To mark the platform’s launch, we invited the likes of Amelie Manzoli, Lottie Moss, Jackie Apostel, Kenza, Holly Scarfone, and Anastasia Vartanian (aka @fatannawintour) down to The Maine. Pulling up in rides courtesy of Mercedes-Benz and stamped with the CultedXO logo, we hosted a night with music by Tara Lily who opened the evening with smooth jazz and DJ Manuka Honey who upped the tempo as the night went down.

The night was powered by Mercedes-Benz, a link up that makes sense given how their story starts with Bertha Benz - a woman who, back in 1888 took the first long-distance drive to prove that the automobile could change the world. She had a mission: proving that cars really were the future, and she wanted to take her husband, Carl Benz’s invention from 1886 – the first ever automobile – on the first long-distance car ride to show that cars could be relied on for long distance journeys in a way that people back then wouldn’t believe.

Today, Benz is one of the most influential women in modern history. She stood for all the things CultedXO stands for: pushing against the status-quo, brazen creativity, and refusing to sit back and let the men take charge. That’s why Bertha and her trailblazing, unapologetic legacy are in the spotlight at our launch event for CultedXO tonight, powered by Mercedes-Benz.
