Turkish artist Ezhel is joined by Sierra Leonean-German reggae singer Patrice for their latest single ‘Not A Day’. The song’s lyrics are entirely written in English, straying from Ezhel’s usual Turkish-based lyrics.

The song explores the many struggles both artists have faced and continue to face in their day-to-day lives. Authenticity and bold statements are two key components to not only the song but also the artists’ uncompromised core values. As they proudly sing “Not a day goes by without a fight”, listeners feel and relate to their pain and struggle, later accompanied by the words “no love for bad energy”. Ezhel and Patrice, though, remain fighters, overcoming any and all obstacles set against them.

The music video for Not A Day sees both artists performing amidst captivating visuals. From their faces placed in plastic cling-wrap foam trays to being deformed through water-filled glasses, the eye-catching visuals only add to the raw and fascinating song.
