SOULLAND ORSON VACATION SHIRT - £175 / US$209
As you might know from last week’s CULTED staff shopping guide, I like a statement piece… but when it comes to a summer shirt I’m a little reserved. I’ve been eyeing up this “vacation” shirt (hopefully I’ll get a vacation this summer), because it’s a more minimal version of the very bold Hawaiian dad shirts we see everywhere. Besides, it’s made of 100% TENCEL™ which is a material produced through environmentally responsible processes from sustainably sourced natural raw material wood. It’s described as “breathable and comfy”.
BOTTEGA VENETA WRAPAROUND-FRAME SUNGLASSES - £280 / US$415 I have a few bold sunglasses but I’m desperately in need of a plain black pair. I like the way these Bottega’s curve around the top, but I might be buying these just for the signature leather-weave case it comes in.
AMI PARIS AMI DE COEUR TRACK SHORTS I only wear shorts when it’s very hot weather and in very hot weather the last thing I want to wear are a pair of tight shorts that stick to my legs. These 100% organic cotton track shorts seem exactly the opposite of that - nice and airy. The colour also hits all the right notes for me, sun kissed skin and green shorts? Sounds alright.

GANNI TREAD SOLE SLINGBACK SANDALS - £175 / US$235 There’s something about a dad sandal that makes any outfit look cool, which is funny considering it would have had the opposite effect 5 years ago. Nevertheless, these Ganni ones are on the top of my wish-list and they're ‘positively conscious’ meaning they've covered the cost to make their footprint carbon neutral. *Adds to basket*
STÜSSY MADRAS PLAID BIG LOGO BUCKET HAT - £50 / US$65
Not much needs to be said, it’s a cool bucky hat that will elevate any fit. It comes with a reasonable price tag too.
PALM ANGELS X MISSONI HERITAGE LOOSE TEE - £225 / US$265
There’s nothing wrong with keeping things simple. When it’s good quality with a strong neckline, it’s worth the money. Just make sure to wear a bib when eating in it. Bolognese sauce stains aren’t a vibe.

When someone asks me “what brand would you pick if you could only wear one for the rest of your life?” my immediate answer is Universal Works - it’s a uniquely subtle brand with just the right balance of intricate detailing and simplistic perfection. This jacket is a true embodiment of this, a combination of traditional tailoring with a 2021-appropriate bandana print.

In my quest for finding the perfect sunglasses for summer (I know I’m very late) the America shades by young brand RETROSUPERFUTURE are calling my name - the shape is just so good.

While I’m a sneaker guy, sometimes I feel like I need a loafer or something more formal for select nights out, outfits, or special occasions. Maybe if i wear these i’ll be better at staying civilised on nights out and messy first dates.

MOWALOLA HOMECOMING HEAT GRAPHIC PRINT T-SHIRT - £157 / US$167 You know that one item you’ve been eyeing for god knows how long but you never seem to hit the ‘buy’ button on? That’s this Mowalola tee for me. Who knows, maybe tomorrow will be the day I actually purchase it.
NANUSHKA CLEO FAUX LEATHER TROUSERS - £607 / US$460 Now I know it's summer and who is actually going to wear leather pants in summer… Not me at least. But I have a weird tendency of finding great winter clothes in summer and vice versa. And here I am again.
NIKE DUNK LOW DISRUPT SAIL DESERT SAND - £178 / US$245 (APPROX.) Checks over the stripes. For some reason, beige has just become an integral part of my wardrobe so see ya later red and black Jordans, hello beige Dunk Lows.

I’m aware that its currently 30 degrees outside, and it’s warm enough wearing just a t-shirt and shorts but i’ve been eyeing up this Ami Paris sweater for so long now - so fashion before practicality I say.

I’m desperate for a new little side bag, so what better than this little cold laundry gem in a neutral colorway.
