Small brands have found the key to making waves at fashion week: viral moments. Last September Coperni dominated SS23 with their now iconic spray-on dress and Botter took over with their controversial condom-gloves. Now Copenhagen-based brand (DI)VISION is serving the entire table. Last week we reposted a video on TikTok by @frejawewer, which gained almost 70k views and had CULTED’s community obsessed. Here’s what you had to say about the spectacle.
Lesser-known brand (DI)VISION kicked off Copenhagen Fashion Week with an undeniably memorable show. The viral clip that sparked so many conversations this week featured model Sarah Dahl, the last model to walk for (DI)VISION, standing up from a table of guests and walking off onto the runway – dragging the table cloth, plates, and glasses along behind her.
If you can be sure your risky stunt will pay off anywhere, it’s on TikTok. Most users took to making tongue-in-cheek comments about the drama, with @.zak_priv stating they “ate but left no crumbs” and @yasmin following up the punchline with “devoured and left a few plates on the floor but that’s ok”.

However, user @thi__________ wasn’t too keen on the stunt, stating “this was painful to watch.” in reaction to our repost on TikTok, and @dilanakdg_ agreed, asking “But why”. They kind of raise a fair question in that, since when did the spectacle become more important than the clothes? We’re not sure, but it does keep things interesting.

With fashion weeks getting ever more competitive, brands are having to find new ways to compete for the limelight. Creating a dress that doubles as a tablecloth is only the most recent stunt in a slew that’s likely to continue on for the rest of Women’s Fashion Month. User @alexialovesburgundy puts it best: “Idk what I was expecting but it was not that”. Exactly – for FW23, expect the unexpected.
