
It’s that time of the week again, where your inbox is flooded with unread emails and your feed charged with Paris Fashion Week content. To make matters easier, we have compiled a list of news tid-bits you don’t want to miss out on. From Vans’ new collaborative collection with Haribo celebrating its 100 year anniversary to Burberry’s new book launch featuring over 200 archival images, there’s lots of exciting stuff in the works. PARIS FASHION WEEK DAY 5
The ongoing weekly event has given us already so much to talk about from Off-White’s sand-filled runway to Rick Owens’ surprise pink sequined dresses, and it’s not over yet. Still to come is the highly anticipated Balenciaga show, the first since its recent scandal which is set to have direct connections to the original couturier, as well as Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s debut as creative director at Ann Demeulemeester. Stay tuned as the talent is never-ending.

BURBERRY LAUNCHES ‘BURBERRY’
In celebration of 165 years of rich heritage, Burberry has launched a brand new book titled ‘Burberry’. The book, whose cover featured the classic beige check pattern, features over 200 illustrations from Burberry’s archive, exploring Britishness since its inception in 1856 til the present day. Published by Assounline, ‘Burberry’ is priced at £150 / $195 and will be made available for purchase on March 28.

WHAT’S IN THE BOX?
Heat is back again with another mystery box drop. This time around, Heat has partnered up with Our Legacy and Acne Studios to create a carefully curated box of luxury goodies. The fashion curators have designed two different types of boxes, Contemporary and Contemporary Plus, with prices ranging from £350 to £650 though with a retail value of £600 to £1,000. The two new boxes are now available on Heat’s website alongside its homeware box.

THE ONE STAR PRO GETS A COLLABORATIVE MAKEOVER
Converse and Patta are counting their luck with their new four-leaf clover One Star Pro, as well as a capsule collection. The shoe features a brown suede finishing a green clover inside Converse’s emblematic star. Bringing the collaboration to life, Patta x Converse took a walk in the forest with Erykah Badu for its campaign images. While there is no official release date yet, the shoe is set to come out soon.

AXEL GOES ASTRO
Part of its SS23 collection titled “From Coast to Coast”, Axel Arigato plays with 90s nostalgia for its new sneaker release. Titled “Astro”, the mainly-white shoe features a pop of colour in a green, red, pink and grey iteration and is priced at £300. The campaign images feature the leather and suede sneaker in its prime location: alongside a basketball.

MONCLER WANTS TO TAKE US ON A HIKE
Moncler taps into its utilitarian aesthetic again for the new release of its “Trailgrip” sneakers. First seen in the FW22 collection, the Trailgrip sneaker, which now also comes in a Lite version, channels mountain hiking gear gets a makeover for this season, using lighter weight fabrics and breathable mesh to optimise comfort, and a Vibram Megagrip sole for durability. The shoe comes in an array of colourways, including an all-pink and a grey and green version.

VANS HAS A SWEET TOOTH
Celebrating 100 years of the Haribo Gold Bear, the sweets company has teamed up with Vans for a collaborative line which features footwear as well as apparel. The classic slip-on Vans are seen in red with a Haribo bear on its toe cap while the Sk8-Hi is seen decorated with Haribo’s motto “Kids and grown-ups love it so, the happy world of Haribo”. Customers will also be able to customise their own Vans x Haribo footwear through Vans’ customs platform from April 6.

UNDERCOVER GOES DRIVING WITH TOYOTA
The Japanese label has teamed up with Toyota for a special collaboration, revamping the Aygo X. UNDERCOVER’s Jun Takahashi has implemented his designs into the car, with his motto “CHAOS / BALANCE” seen on roof stickers. Speaking on the collaboration, Takahashi stated “Fusing together two contradicting elements, or worlds, is exciting for me and both the materials and how we applied the colours differ completely from clothing collaborations”. Revealed during a Paris Fashion Week after-party, the car will only be made in 5,000 models.

BODEGA X BEAMS MAKE PREPPY COOL
Inspired by the Ivy League aesthetics popularised in the 50s and 60s, Bodega x Beams have teamed up to reimagine the preppy look with sportswear elements. The collection features crewnecks and tees with both brands’ logos as well as a button-up and suit jacket with a new ‘B’ logo. In addition, the two have tapped New Era for an exclusive cap featuring the ‘B’ as well as adidas to create two new sneakers. The full collection will be made available on March 10.

NEW YORK IS RECEIVING A BRAND NEW QUEER EXHIBITION
The Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art is set to open a new exhibition titled “Images To Build On”, delving into the history of queer imagery. Sourcing works from artists between the 70s and 90s, the exhibition will feature works by Lola FLASH, challenging stereotypes and offering a new perspective on queer culture and romance. The exhibition will be open from March 10 til July 30.
