With holiday season upon us, it seems like everyone’s traversing some Italian steps or soaking up the Spanish sun right now; holiday FOMO is definitely in the air. But don’t worry, because Bottega Veneta’s new store is bringing its luxurious, Italian aesthetic to London.

The architecture of the store itself is designed to emulate the materials and techniques from the Veneto region – one of the most gorgeous regions of Italy, hosting Gothic architecture, Carnival celebrations, and home to the setting of Shakespeare’s “Romeo & Juliet”.

Terrazzo flooring throughout the space is reminiscent of Venice’s decorative stonework, inspired by the movement of water in a refreshing blue, and practically transporting you to sunny steps of a Venetian cathedral facing the canal.

Similarly, the golden wood panelling of the store’s interior is a warm invitation to view Bottega Veneta’s collection, with corners and caverns carved into the walls each holding a new product waiting to be explored. These are juxtaposed by clean, sleek glass, a modern aspect amidst the classic Italian influences.

So basically, visit Bottega Veneta’s newly opened store on Sloane Street for a trip to the bustling streets of Italy, and of course to shop the brand’s latest collections ahead of summer.
