The Lord of Darkness, aka Rick Owens, is linking up with Rizzoli Books to release a photo book next month.
The book, Rick Owens: Temple of Love, follows the American designers’ almost three-decade career, starting from his early days in LA through to his current work, showing his evolution and his inspiration.

Rick Owens: Temple of Love is timed with the first exhibition of the designer’s work at the Palais Galliera in Paris this summer. It’s the first time the grunge-meets-avant-garde designer presents his work in a comprehensive show. The exhibition, curated by Rick himself as artistic director, will feature designs from his early collections in LA through to current pieces, as well as references that have inspired him such as work by Joris-Karl Huysmans and other contemporary art and films. The exhibition will run from 28th June until October.
Rick remains one of the most influential and distinctive designers in today’s time, and has managed to stay true to himself and his vision throughout his career, cultivating a huge following around the world (Rick army rise up).
The photo book drops with Rizzoli on July 1th, you can preorder on the Rizzoli website.
