New York Fashion Week is just about to kick off
We’re just two days away from New York Fashion Week kicking off fashion month, for four weeks of chaos and creativity. Kicking off the event is Helmut Lang, now creative directed by Peter Do, with Collina Strada, Tommy Hilfiger, Proenza Schouler, Khaite, Sandy Liang, Ludovic de Saint Sernin, and a whole lot more to follow – and of course, we’ll be covering all of it for you.
Jil Sander opens up a London store
Marking a first in the minimalist brand’s history, Jil Sander has just opened a store in London. While pieces from the brand have been sold in department stores like Harrods, the Luke and Lucie Meier-led brand is now occupying a space of its own on 134 Bond Street. Taking up 1,600 square metres, the two-level store mixes monochrome marble with timber to create a clean and fresh look, synonymous with Jil Sander’s minimalist look, thought up by architect Casper Mueller Kneer.
LOEWE unveils an exhibition in Shanghai
The luxury fashion House LOEWE has just announced its “Crafted World” exhibition, set to open in the Shanghai Exhibition Centre on March 22. The exhibition will trace back the brand’s 178-year history, from its beginnings in 1846 as a Madrid-based leather maker. Expect to see pieces made for the Spanish Royal Crown to the latest Jonathan Anderson creations, as well as an array of artefacts and artworks all key to the LOEWE story.

Loro Piana pulled up with the Record Bale Award
Last week, Loro Piana celebrated the 24th and 25th editions of the Loro Piana Record Bale Award, unveiling a new World Record Bale. The first since 2013, this new record was achieved by the Australian farm Pyrenees Park with its Merino wool fibre consisting of only 10.2 microns (the unit of measurement for the fineness of a fibre, to the nearest thousandth of a millimetre), compared to its predecessor of 10.3. To celebrate, the Loro Piana family hosted an intimate gathering, with special guests including Claire Foy, and Andrew Garfield.
Homebase & SONGER shut down Camden with a street party
Camden is still recovering from its street rave that took place last weekend, where the father and son raver duo Homebass and rapper SONGER threw a massive street party. Best believe the turnout of over 3,000 ravers brought the vibes to Camden, uplifting the sense of community within the rave community with three hours of undisrupted live music – and yes, all safety measures were put in place.
Caviar Kaspia is living it up in New York
The Parisian-born caviar expert institution Caviar Kaspia is celebrating a very special anniversary, marking its one year at the Mark Hotel in New York. Blending an Upper East Side charm with classic Parisian chicness, the 77th Street and Madison Avenue designed by Jacques Grange has become a hotspot for caviar lovers, operating as a restaurant, bar and boutique. Speaking on its 1 year anniversary, CEO of Caviar Kaspia Ramon Mac Crohon stated “It’s great to see that Kaspia New York has already become an iconic hotspot favored by the fashion and creative spheres. The Quezon City-based vintage store Season Pass is gearing up for another round of their beloved community flea markets, hitting up multiple universities with their handpicked vintage garms.
