Alexander McQueen has launched a new interactive social media initiative.
The initiative invites artists and creatives to reimagine McQueen collections using a sketchbook and their chosen materials.
Fans are then encouraged to share their final creations on Instagram by tagging @alexandermcqueen and using the hashtag #McQueenCreators.
This week the luxury brand invited fans to draw the silhouettes of the SS20 womenswear and AW20 menswear collections.
Previous themes have seen creators reimagine the AW20 rose dress, design their own prints, and make 3-D flowers.
McQueen is also posting workshops relating to each theme by industry experts.
The workshops are being posted weekly on the brand’s Insta page, meaning you can learn a new skill, as well as improving on your existing talents
This is a great way to stay creative while trapped indoors.
We’ll definitely be heading for our art supplies to get involved.
