Just like that, the week has come to an end again, but not before your weekly Friday Roundup. This time around we’ve got a whole bunch of collabs, like Boiler Room and Umbro that are bringing football into the clubs, HEAT and streetwear brands C.P. Company and 1017 ALYX 9SM finding their way into the mystery boxes, and Ksubi and A$AP TyY’s motorsport-inspired collection. Keep reading to stay in the know.

BOILER ROOM & UMBRO ARE BRINGING FOOTBALL INTO THE CLUBS

Exploring the intersection between the pitch and the dance floor, Boiler Room and Umbro come together in a collection that unites two seemingly separate cultures. Creative director of Boiler Room Amar Adiriwira said “We thought it would be fun to come together to design a uniform for Boiler Room. What does our team look like? It’s constantly changing but it’s always open, energetic, & diverse”.

HEAT IS PARTNERING WITH C.P. COMPANY & 1017 ALYX 9SM

Earlier this year it was VETEMENTS and now its C.P. Company and 1017 ALYX 9SM’s turn to partner up with the luxury mystery box brand HEAT. Now available online, C.P. Company has created a monobrand box for HEAT which includes archival pieces from the Italian brand that dates back to 1971, and pieces from ALYX will be found in the Streetwear and Streetwear Plus boxes, each priced differently but all over a RRP value way higher than what you pay for.

JOHN LAWRENCE SULLIVAN GOES DARK FOR SS24

Titled “DARKDENCE”, John Lawrence Sullivan’s SS24 collection is exactly that, dark. The inspiration comes from a Czech Republic chapel designer Arashi Yanagawa visited in 2016, which was filled with human bones and had an overall eerie atmosphere. The clothing itself features a white shirt that looks like it’s been splashed in blood, strong tailoring on a black suit and long leather jacket with accentuated wrinkles in the middle of the sleeves and horse-riding inspired knee-high boots.
