It’s CULTED with your weekly COVID-19 round-up. Here are last week’s stand-out headlines!
First up, L Brands, the company which owns Victoria’s Secret, has seen a loss of $296m dollars during this quarter.
L Brands has since announced it will now permanently close 250 stores across the US and Canada.
Next up, The RealReal has partnered with Fashion Girls For Humanity for a sale of designer masks.
100% of the proceeds will go directly to Gowns for Good, a Fashion Girls For Humanity initiative that funds businesses that have adapted their manufacturing to produce PPE for hospitals.
In other news, photographer Mark Seliger is auctioning off some of his well-known celebrity portraits to aid coronavirus relief.
The photographer has teamed up with Christie’s and Red Carpet Advocacy to auction 25 portraits of stars including Kurt Cobain, and Barack Obama.
And to round off today, the Wu-Tang Clan have dropped a hand sanitizer as part of their “A Better Tomorrow” collection of products.
For each sale, the brand will donate a bottle of hand sanitizer to the Ottawa Mission Foundation, along with other homeless shelters in Canada.
That’s all for this week!
