adidas has teamed up with Disney for its Create 100 project, with lead designer Charlie Kiriharna designing a one-of-a-kind adidas Gazelle Vintage. The limited-edition sneaker channels Disney’s Ariel’s inventive spirit through sneakers sourced from stores to focus on creative solutions to find uses for unwanted things and landfill diversion. As part of the event, Christian Louboutin, Maison Valentino and Beyonce joined adidas in donating special items with the funds from auction sales going to Disney’s Make-A-Wish foundation.

Kelvin Krash drops new single Safety First
Musician, visual designer and all-round multi-disciplinary creative Kelvin Krash has launched his latest single, Safety First, ahead of the release of his debut album, Harsh, on September 29, which will contain features from A$AP Rocky and COUCOU CHLOE. Krash described Safety First as “telling the truth” about how he felt at the time and serves as a testament of always being protective of yourself. Stone Island and New Balance unveil collaborative 991V2 model
New Balance and Stone Island have linked up for a collaborative 991V2 model, a classic silhouette which has traversed from athletics staple to cultural icon found across runways, pubs, clubs and high streets. For the collaborative design, inspiration has been taken from the adapted industrial spaces that have served as venues and clubs, reflected in an olive, grey and black palette, which features a mesh upper inspired by latticed metal overlaid with Nubuck. The shoes will be available to purchase from selected Stone Island stores and online.
Fenwick launches its first ever Ad campaign
British department store Fenwick has launched its first-ever ad campaign, titled “Quiet No More,” which will be seen across the UK from London to Edinburgh, on public transport networks and billboards. The campaign is based on brand strategy developed by Consultancy At Large, which is known for running previous successful campaigns for Nike and Google. Rising stars Estevez, Belloso and Ana Paganini captured the campaign, who are known for their work in the fashion and art worlds. Look out for an eye-catching campaign in a city near you.
