Sadly the temperature’s finally dropped a few degrees welcoming us into the frosty weather we’d expect of this time of year, but this week’s Friday roundup has everything you’ll need for the colder months approaching. Featuring a loooong list of icey jewellery, patterned puffers, and shoes to withstand even the heaviest snowstorm, we’ve not spared a single thing this week. You’re welcome.

MERRELL 1TR’SL LATEST DROP IS GNARLY

Merrell 1TRL, the brand innovating trail footwear, just released their latest three-model collection – the ‘Hydro Moc AT’. An evolution of the classic Hydro Moc adapted for All Terrains, the new design has been elevated for more environments, maintaining its waterproof features but with the addition of a couple more tailored aspects. With three shoes released in the collection, each has been adapted for a different use, featuring the three classics: water, rockier terrains, and snowy peaks.

SNS’S FW22 COLLECTION IS A BLAST FROM THE PAST

SNS’s winter collection is inspired by our favourite thing this time of year: nostalgia. Referencing a time before social media when vinyl ruled the music scene and everything was patterned with a different funky print, the collection – called ‘The Lost Art Form’ – showcases trousers in a vibrant jungle print and psychedelic jumper you could just melt into.

SPENCER BADU’S COLLECTION TAPS INTO HIS ROOTS

Designer Spencer Badu’s latest drop, titled COLLECTED 011, takes root in the idea of migration. His own parents who migrated from Ghana to Europe largely inspired the collection, which clearly pulls on Spencer’s heritage through bold pops of colour and references to Afro-Caribbean garments. He also up-cycled some of his own deadstock, stating second hand clothing is big in African countries. Sustainable and cultured; love it.

THREE’S A CROWD? NOT FOR CONVERSE, PATTA & EXPERIMENTAL JETSET

Converse, Patta, and Experimental Jetset have teamed up to release a collaborative sneaker, the Chuck 70 Hi. The design takes from the three brand’s individual styles and aesthetics, utilising a clean white canvas as the backdrop to a vibrant blue and red arrow motif.
