After two years out of the game, Europe’s leading cultural organisation Berlin Atonal is back and better than ever with their completely new project ‘METABOLIC RIFT’. Hosted in the heart of Berlin, the world-renowned festival will take place this autumn in the refurbished powerplant Kraftwerk. Berlin Atonal is a well-respected name in the experimental music scene after contributing massively to Berlin’s progressive musical culture. Bursting onto the scene in 1982, the festival fostered upcoming and revolutionary musical acts that were ahead of their time – ultimately pushing experimental music into a new, contemporary direction.
With a well-deserved reputation of debuting leading figures in contemporary art, make no mistake that Metabolic Rift will now be any different. Metabolic Rift merges the music and the art world as the event displays the cutting-edge work of both visual and sonic artists. The festival encompasses more than two dozen site- specific installations, musical interventions and audio-visual assemblages. It will be bigger and better than ever as six concert nights will also be hosted during the exhibition period. With the likes of visual artist Cyprian Gaillard and musical group Space Afrika showcasing their talent this year, Metabolic Rift is not one to miss…

Metabolic Rift will be exhibited September 25th to October 30th, 2021, at Kraftwerk Berlin.
