We made it. On Sunday, the clocks change, days get longer and you have more of an excuse to wear sunglasses at all times. To usher in the official commencement of Spring, we’re dropping a shopping guide of our favourite pieces to tide us through the new season. From staple cargos to rediscovering new silhouettes, take a scroll to see what we’re hooked on, and how we’re styling it.
PAVEL
Lately I’ve been wearing black cargos almost every day – they’re just easy and comfortable. Doubt much will change for spring as I only wear shorts when it’s actually hot – often only when I’m abroad. I tend to dress quite simplistic unless there is a special occasion, so Daily Paper’s t-shirts do it for me. They’re of good quality so they feel nice and last forever. I also tend to wear my Supreme neck pouch on a regular basis. It seems small but you can fit plenty in it, like sunglasses, power bank, keys etc.. As the weather gets warmer and I regularly walk my dog, I tend to go for some nice Birkenstock mules.
Up until recently, I’d finish off my day to day look with my favourite pair of sunglasses, the Louis Vuitton 1.1 Millionaires (in grey). Sadly, I lost them.

LAURA
After being trapped in the ‘everything tiny’ trend, I have fallen back in love with my oversized Celine sunglasses and bags. Owning 2 pairs of old oversized shades in black colourways – it was time for an updated collection. I copped the rectangular black frame in acete in a black colourway. I have been wearing them almost every day as they are so easy to style and throw on when rushing out, especially after the London weather finally decided to turn up. I only ever tend to wear black and white looks, however this season I have been incorporating brighter colours.
I’d usually finish off my look with a pair of Nike Dunk High Aluminium, alongside my go-to men’s oversized Off-White long-sleeved white T-shirt and a pair of oversized black jeans of course.
CELINE BLACK FRAME 01 SUNGLASSES – £340 / US $448

STELLA
My wardrobe essentially revolves around variations of what I’ve found to be a winning formula: tank top, suit trousers, dad shoes and accessories. It’s a look that works for most things – drinks, shopping, work (depending on where) or chilling. So you’ll be unsurprised to hear that this is what I’m offering today. Lucky you.
My current favourite rotation would have to be these trousers from Shop Yotts on Depop – her own design, they’re made from stretchy deadstock fabric and are as comfortable as they are flattering – I also love the huge belt buckle on them. Now the sun’s come out, it would be criminal not to take advantage of the impressive array of sunnies on offer, too. Pair them with the staple of the season, the humble white tank top, and you’ve got yourself a fit.
SHOP YOTTS ‘DREAM’ FLARES – £38 / US $50

SAM GUNN
Spring, Summer and beyond, the New Balance 550 is an everyday staple that goes with almost everything. I tend to wear them with a Stüssy Track pant for comfort, or for the hotter days, a pair of Gramicci cargo shorts and white socks. Aimé Leon Dore or mainline New Balance, both do the job. As the popularity of Nike’s Dunk hits its peak, I think the 550 will be just as big, if not a bigger mark, courtesy of Teddy Santis and New Balance’s appeal to the everyday.
If it is a workday and I don’t have a lot of time in the morning, Uniqlo U’s AIRism T-shirt is the perfect for my body shape, medium length sleeves and boxy fit, finished with ALD’s ‘Aimé’ corduroy cap.
STÜSSY POLY TRACK PANT – £140 / US $185

SANDY
After writing the piece on the return of the Varsity Jacket, I reignited my own obsession! I feel like it’s a staple in anyone’s wardrobe to make any basic outfit look ten times more put together, and I love mixing the streetwear vibe with something more feminine. For spring, it’s the perfect piece to throw over an outfit or carry in a bag for when the weather transitions from day to evening. As I tend to let the jacket be the centerpiece when it comes to my overall outfit, I’ll throw this over a plain dress with my Telfar x UGG shopping bag – which is a great size for all the spring essentials like a bottle of water, a book, picnic snacks and most importantly, it can fit the jacket in.
To complete the outfit I’ll choose a pair of Beatniks as they’re lightweight and easy to slip off for the times you’re in the park!
DAILY PAPER VARSITY JACKET – £305 / US $402
