New week, new happenings. A lot has been going on this week in the worlds of fashion, art and culture – some more unlikely than others. As the UK once again turned up the heat, we saw a whole host of link ups. Kim K answers the prayers of minimalists worldwide, Stüssy gives us a penny for our thoughts and APOC pops up at CFW. Elsewhere new collections dropped! Let’s get into it.

TIME TO CATCH THE NEXT PATTA WAVE

Following their previous success with Nike, Patta has returned with the next wave. This ‘Dark Russet’ colourway is inspired by the Africa proverb “Each One Teach One,” supporting Patta’s ambition to create and foster a global community. All that’s left is to see who’s been practising their surfing.
POP UP AT CPW WITH APOC

A hybrid of exhibition, store, and showroom – the Apoc Store pop-up just launched during Copenhagen Fashion Week 2022! Spanning over 4 days each designer has designed their mannequin/display – allowing them to express their brand both individually and as part of a cohesive group show. Is this the year we blur the boundaries of what is a shop or gallery?
BEATS BY KIM

Beats announced their first-ever custom collaboration releasing next week with the multi-hyphenate entrepreneur Kim Kardashian. Beats x Kim sits at the intersection of fashion and functionality reimaging the Beats Fit Pro in three neutral colours; moon (light), dune (medium) and earth (deep) – fit for anyone whether they want to stand out or blend in. Also, the Active Noise Cancellation feature is said to be perfect for anyone juggling parenting and peace, what more needs to be said?
THE DEVIL WEARS A PRADA TANK?

During MFW earlier this year we saw the return of the staple of fashion – the humble white tank. Prada opened their show with the classic garment featuring the brand’s triangle logo hardware detailing, and now you can get your hands on this piece just in time to catch the last few rays of the UK summer!
