First up, Japanese menswear brand Issey Miyake is set to be discontinued. Issey Miyake Inc. will still produce other menswear brands, explaining that the decision will lead to “new possibilities” in Miyake menswear.
In other news, designer Heron Preston has been named as Creative Adviser to esports organisation Gen.G. The new role will see him providing general guidance and advice to Gen. G, as well as designing limited edition products, with the first being for the League of Legends season.
Next up, RYOT is launching an immersive VR fashion show today called ‘The Fabric of Reality’. The fully immersive digital fashion show aims to take audiences on a journey exploring the story and narrative behind the designer’s collections.
