Wednesday NEWS RUSH Featuring London Fashion Week Going Digital.

Good morning everyone, it’s CULTED bringing you your Wednesday NEWS RUSH.

First up, major news as the British Fashion Council announced yesterday that London Fashion Week: Men’s is relaunching as a digital-only platform. It will also see London Fashion Week merge mens and womenswear to become gender neutral! This will take effect for the next 12 months for the upcoming shows in both June and September.

Next up, Lululemon has come under fire after former art director Trevor Fleming promoted a “Bat Fried Rice” t-shirt. The shirt, which was created by artist Jess Sluder, features a Chinese takeout box with bat wings and the words “no thank you”. Lululemon was quick to issue an apology for Fleming’s behaviour, branding the post and shirt as “inappropriate”, “offensive” and “inexcusable”. The brand also reiterated that “the T-shirt design is not a Lululemon product”.

And in lighter news, in Monday’s vid we predicted that Travis Scott would be making an appearance in Fortnite and that’s now been confirmed. The rapper will be premiering his new song in an upcoming in-game event set to take place between April 23rd and 25th.

That’s all for today’s news.

It’s Sam with CULTED. Have a great Wednesday and make sure to stay inside.
