It’s CULTED bringing you your Wednesday morning NEWS RUSH.

First up, the owner of the video chat app, Houseparty is offering a $1 million reward to anyone who has evidence that the company has been targeted by a commercial smear campaign. This comes after rumours surfaced online of user’s Netflix, Spotify and even bank accounts being hacked after downloading the Houseparty app.

In other news, after terminating its online operations in the UK, Net-a-Porter have repurposed their delivery fleet to help COVID-19 relief. The transport vans, usually used to ship the brand’s clothing, have been donated to 7 Age U.K. charities across London. The vans will be used to transport essential supplies to vulnerable people.

Next up, Shanghai’s digital Fashion Week brought in 2.5 million viewers in its first 3 hours of broadcasting. The new digital approach which was pioneered with Alibaba’s Tmall, proved a success. Could this cement the idea of Fashion Weeks to come going digital?

And to round off today’s news, Pirelli and PVH are the latest brands to donate to COVID-19 relief efforts. Pirelli has pledged to donate €100,000 to research, whilst the latter has earmarked $1 million.

That’s all for today.

It’s Sam with CULTED. Stay safe and have a great Wednesday!
