
Glasses have become the must-have accessory with the release of GENTLE MONSTER’s latest first optical collection. To my fellow glasses wearers, this is your sign to push aside those 3 year old frames and give your eyes a much needed update. Titled ‘GENTLE’ the campaign questions the concept of identity, removing half of the brands name to allow other characters to fill the void and result in multiple identities coexisting in the same frame. Whether you’re looking for something bold or minimal, the campaign features a diverse range of models, Shot by Dutch photographer Ari Versluis, expanding on the concept of diversity.
The collection features a range of frames, from metal aviators to bold plastic styles, and with 15 hand-crafted designs to make a total of 60 frames in an array of colors, choosing the perfect frame will be just as difficult as ever, but at least a lot more enjoyable. From everyday pairs to choosing something to match a certain fit, glasses are an extension of you, so this time, you’ll likely be heading for the frames instead of the contacts.
