It’s CULTED with your 60-second FASHION BLAST.
WWD China has announced ‘Kind to Earth, Fashion for Future’ – a fully digital sustainability campaign. The campaign kicks off on March 18th, and will act as a call to action for designers, celebrities and influencers.
Featuring over 100 brand partners, including the Responsible Supply Chain Association and China Fashion Week, the event series is bound to be a game-changer.
Over six weeks we will see a sustainability-focused conference and a special sustainable content initiative. Most excitingly a ‘Digital Fashion Week’ is included, for which WWD China will team up with leading digital producers to showcase “the best of sustainable fashion presented by Chinese and international designers and brands’’.
According to WWD, there will also be an online-only summit, including topics such as supply chain transparency, zero-waste design, green chemistry as well as sustainable tech and innovation trends in China.
Despite the current circumstances, fashion finds a way, and we think initiatives like these are the way forward.
