It’s CULTED with your Tuesday NEWSRUSH.
First up, Christian Dior’s cruise show will now go ahead but with no in real life audience. Originally scheduled for May 27th, the show has been moved to the new date of July 22nd and will be live streamed from Lecce, in Italy’s Puglia region.
In other news, Arturo Obegero has collaborated with award winning artist Mel Odom on a series of silk scarves inspired by the story of Adam and Eve, with a part of the proceeds being donated to Doctors Without Borders. Available on arturoobegero.com.
Next up, LOEWE is celebrating drag icon Divine with a new collection and virtual exhibition. The capsule features 3 t-shirts and a bag, which go hand-in-hand with the virtual exhibition on “the filthiest person alive”, which was conceptualized by Jonathon Anderson.
Both the collection and exhibition will go live on June 25th, with 15% of the proceeds from the capsule being donated to Visual AIDS.
To round off today, after receiving backlash for his $50 donation to the BLM movement, Virgil Abloh is auctioning an unreleased signed pair of the Off-White x Air Jordan 4’s with proceeds going to The Black Curriculum and Inquest UK.
That’s all for this morning it’s Sam with CULTED.
