First up, Chrome Hearts is suing Fashion Nova for copyright infringement. The lawsuit states that Fashion Nova has hijacked 3 signature Chrome Hearts trademarks with the intention of deceiving customers.
In similar news, women’s fashion retailer Designer’s Remix, has been called out for allegedly copying CSM graduate Bradley Sharpe. The account highlighted the similarities and pointed out that Bradley’s work was completed on May 22, with Designers Remix showcasing their collection this month.
Next up, despite receiving mixed reviews from the fashion world, Thursday’s Louis Vuitton menswear show in Shanghai appeared to be a success, garnering 68M viewers on Chinese app WeBo, and 18 million on Douyin. On top of this, after the show LV shops in Shanghai, Taiwan, and Korea all saw their biggest sales weekends in history.
And to round off this morning’s updates, U.S Border control has seized $3.6M in fake Dior Air Jordans. The shipment which was stopped in Texas, contained 1,800 pairs of the fake Air Jordans.
