It’s CULTED bringing you your Tuesday morning NEWS RUSH.
First up, Dior is launching a new podcast series called DIOR TALKS. The podcast will be hosted by London-based writer and curator, Katy Hessel. The series aims to highlight the creatives who help steer “the direction of the house”. 2 episodes have been released so far with the first being a discussion with Maria Grazia Chiuri.
Next up, City Hall has teamed up with the London College of Fashion to add fashion design to the school curriculum. London-based children will now be able to gain an insight into the opportunities available to them in the fashion industry through the ‘Fashion London’ resource.
In other news, James Holder, co-founder of Superdry has launched a new British Outerwear brand called Trench London. The range is made up of trench coats, bombers and Harrington jackets and focuses on modern interpretations of classic British styles.
Finally, Stella McCartney has reported a loss of £11 million. The company said the loss was due to administrative expenses driven by Blue Sapphire project and the new Old Bond Street store.
