The Hedi Slimane led fashion house revealed their new campaign, excluding the usual iconic faces, instead, it features the 18-year old TikTok icon Noen Eubanks!
Is this making current top models look old?
Eubanks has propelled himself to the top of social media, through lip-synching, his silly dancing edits and his eccentric e-boy style.
And not to mention his deal with Kyra TV.
This makes Celine one of the first fashion brands to dive deep into the TikTok sphere.
An app heavily used by Gen Z, where creative freedom is wild and rules aren’t as strict for branded content!
According to the BOF, “the short-form video network has become a new destination for brands to find talent”.
Teaming up with successful TikTok users like Noen Eubanks – allows brands to reach out to millions of people, that they might not reach on Instagram.
Celine’s bold step sets the tone as to where luxury fashion might be heading in 2020.
