Thursday NEWSRUSH Featuring Gucci X The North Face.
It’s CULTED with your morning NEWSRUSH for Thursday 24 September.
First up, Actress Nola Palmer has also accused photographer Jonathan Leder of sexual assault. The alleged assault took place when she was 17.
In an Instagram post Palmer wrote: “For the first time I am able to publicly say, Jonathan Leder was my abuser and that is thanks to Emily Ratajkowski and her bravery.”
In other news, Dover Street Market has teamed up with Michelle Obama’s organisation When We All Vote. A sea of collaborators including Honey Dijon, Hood By Air, and Goodfight, have teamed up with DSM to produce clothes aimed at encouraging people to vote.
Next up, Gucci has teased an upcoming collaboration with The North Face in a short video which was posted to the brand’s Instagram and TikTok. At the moment there’s not a lot of detail, but if this is a full collection it would mark the first Gucci collaboration with another brand since Alessandro Michele took over 5 years ago.
To end this morning’s updates, Acne Studios has introduced a new drop series made from repurposed fabrics. The first capsule collection has been released today featuring items made from reworked tweed and denim.
That’s all for this morning. It’s Sam with CULTED.
