Thursday NEWSRUSH Featuring Travis Scott Clothing Line.
It’s CULTED with your Thursday NEWSRUSH.
First up, Travis Scott is rumoured to be working on his own clothing line called ‘Cacti’. News comes after the rapper wore a cap wearing the Cacti branding and billboards surfaced around America with a pointy logo. After his collabs with Nike and the Jordan brand, a dive into fashion for Travis would make sense.
Next up, Gucci has launched a new genderless shopping section called Gucci MX. According to its website the new category sets out “to deconstruct preconceived binaries and question how these concepts relate to our bodies.”
In other news, you can now view some of Jean-Michel Basquiat’s most popular works in a new virtual show. In 2019, the Brant Foundation launched a huge exhibition of the artist’s work and they have now brought it online for free for everyone to access. Check out the full virtual tour on the Brant Foundation’s website.
To end this morning’s updates, Dior debuted its latest cruise collection yesterday in the center of Lecce. The collection featured flowy dresses and skirts, embroidery and headscarves. Check it out and let us know what you think in the comments.
