It’s CULTED with your Thursday NEWS RUSH.
First up, the Camera della Moda announced the launch of a new Milan Digital Fashion Week which will be held in July.
The week is set to run from July 14-17 and will showcase SS21 men’s collections along with women’s and men’s pre-collections for next spring. This will not affect the physical SS21 men’s shows and presentations, which will still go ahead during Milan’s women’s Fashion Week, which is expected to start on 22 September running until 28.
Paris has also announced an online showcase which will precede Milan, running from July 9 to 13. This will also be dedicated to SS21 men’s collections and will consist of films and videos.
Next up, Mulberry has banned the use of exotic animal skins in its designs.
As of SS20 the luxury brand will no longer use alligator, crocodile, ostrich, lizard, or snake skin in its collections.
And to round off today, Lady Gaga has finally announced the release date of her upcoming album Chromatica. The album will now be released on May 29.
That’s all for today.
It’s Sam with CULTED. Wishing you a very happy Thursday.
