It’s that time of the year again… Air Max Day, of course. If you weren’t already aware. Nike is releasing a handful of special silhouettes to honour the day, but this year, it has taken a different approach. Three renditions of the famed Air Max 1 will hit the shelves this weekend, celebrating Air Max Day globally from the streets of the ‘City of Lights’ to traditional Japanese touchpoints.

NIGO just doesn’t stop; A Bathing Ape, Human Made, now Kenzo. Not to mention other affiliations he has nurtured outside the lines of the fashion sphere. Take note of collaborations with KAWS, Pharrell Williams and A$AP Rocky. His latest venture treads into the grounds of his musical self with the release of his debut album ‘I Know Nigo’, with a little help from those closest to him. The artwork arrives courtesy of KAWS, while tracks on the album feature Pusha T, Tyler, the Creator, Pharrell and Kid Cudi, amongst others.

The duo dedicates six silhouettes to the show’s various characters – Cartman meets the Forum Low, while the famed NMD translates Kenny’s iconic parka.
