Carhartt WIP SS22 ‘City Wander’

Carhartt WIP is the latest streetwear brand to unveil its Spring Summer 2022 collection with the introduction of its ‘City Wander’ series. In a subdued, neutral palette for the ‘hopefully’ warmer months to come, the collection takes inspiration from the always-busy Tokyo streets, combining urban elements of durability and comfort with an industrial backdrop. The collection features a range of oversized branded crewneck jumpers, coach jackets, shirts, and the staple work/utility vest. All styled and layered in a laid-back aesthetic paying homage to Japanese street style.

Nigo x Kenzo SS22 Collection

The finale of the fashion house’s limited edition series by NIGO is releasing this week and it sure won’t disappoint. Revisiting a key illustration from Kenzo Takada’s archives, this capsule focuses around the brand’s flower motifs, especially the poppy reimagined in NIGO’s own contemporary style. The genderless collection offers a series of t-shirts, shorts and accessories with the highlight piece definitely being a Hawaiian shirt featuring the poppy print all over, with matching cotton drill shorts.

SZA x Crocs Collab

SZA has confirmed she is dropping her very own Crocs, unfortunately her new album is not included. A few days ago Kim Kardashian showed off her SZA x Crocs package (no need for an advertising campaign after that) which included Crocs clogs, slides and a visual campaign card. The footwear itself has a wood-like exterior accompanied by a bunch of SZA inspired charms and a woven friendship bracelet.

Yardsale SS22

The South London streetwear/skate collective is back for Spring Summer 2022 and has called upon artist Olaolu Slawn and skater Alexander Hatfield to model a collection inspired by the 2000s hip hop culture. Its classic box-fitted hoodies are enhanced with silk branding, similar to the classic west coast hip-hop logos. Alongside these, t-shirts with new graphics, bomber jackets and knitwear are all styled with the brand’s iconic blue denim Goblin jeans.

New Balance x Aimé Leon Dore 650

After reworking and bringing a new life to the classic P550 which have been extremely successful in all colourways, New Balance and Aimé Leon Dore have teamed up again to tackle the high-top. Taking inspiration from the 550, the new 650’s keep the classic silhouette of the on-court basketball shoe, adding a puff and stitch collar as well as a raw-edged leather eyerow. Coming in grey, blue, tempo red and dark green colourways – we are sure to see another successful collaboration from these two.

Ayrtn’s ‘CAUTION!’ Album

Ayrtn’s much anticipated new album ‘CAUTION!’ is finally releasing on May 6th, continuing the artist’s consistency of dropping a full length album every year since 2018. Ayrtn is one of the most exciting and emerging UK talents known for his ability to give us both laid-back tracks and upbeat ones for the mosh pits. We can’t wait to hear what’s on this album. Just recording an album is difficult as it is but he has produced, mixed and mastered all tracks by himself too. Crazy.

Rick Owens DRKSHDW x Converse TURBOWPN

Following on from their Chuck 70 low-top DRKSTAR’s, Rick Owen’s DRKSHDW and Converse link up once again to produce two new monochromatic colourways of the DRKSHDW TURBOWPN silhouette. The TURBOWPN, if not familiar, is a reimagined version of the iconic Converse Weapon – a basketball shoe worn by the likes of Larry Bird and Magic Johnson in the late 80s. The new releases come in a full premium leather ‘Clay’ and ‘Egret’ colourways with distorted edges, an elongated, puffed tongue and collars and a stretched out platform sole. The capsule will also include some accessories such as a cap and a drawstring bag.
