There are some pairs in the fashion industry that just make sense together, and Moncler and FRGMT by Hiroshi Fujiwara are one of them. Basically related at this point with their long-standing relationship and countless past link ups, the two are collabing yet again, and it just hits.

Moncler x FRGMT are the embodiment of their collection campaign’s title, “Love Is Human”. But because Moncler and FRGMT are both known to do things a little differently, the campaign for this collection was shot through the eyes of a LOVOT, a tiny little robot created “to provide unconditional love”. The imagery set in Seoul, which was lensed by the Tokyo-based photographer and director Xavier Tera, also showcases the LOVOT showing its love to K-Pop star Hwang Min-hyun.

Love is in the air and it shows. The collaborative collection sees a new logo that uses Moncler’s imagery “hugging” FRGMT’s bold lettering. Hiroshi Fujiwara’s own love for varsity jackets is showcased, putting an emphasis on the classic 80s style piece freshened up with a new design. Each Moncler x FRGMT varsity jacket, which arrives in a white and blue iteration as an online exclusive and a black and white version, comes with a serial number, making it a collector’s item.

There are also hooded puffers, short and long-sleeved tees, hoodies, gilets and jackets – all your classics essentially – some coming in FRGMT’s signature monochrome look, while others are injected with colour, including a puffer inspired by Moncler’s archives and its mountain climbing heritage.

The full collection is now available on Moncler’s website as well as in select stores.
