If this year has been all about collaborations, Moncler has been at the forefront of this movement. From showing the MONDOGENIUS project in multiple cities around the world, led from Milan in September, to their ongoing collaborative project with 11 featured designers, they’ve been pushing the boundaries of in-brand collaboration for the last few years.
Now, one of the collaborators in their Genius roster, Palm Angels, has dropped its latest collection. Titled 8 MONCLER PALM ANGELS, the collection is currently previewing at Palm Angels’ Miami store, before being released online later today. The collection takes surf style and updates it for winter – think Hawaiian shirt prints on jackets, sun soaked hues and board short inspired trousers.
Designed by Francesco Ragazzi, the collection features signature Moncler winter wear, updated and added to with Palm Angels’ distinct streetwear flair. For the puffer jacket fans, you’ll find a baby pink short puffer, alongside bright yellow, navy and forest green variations too. These feature tan patches on the shoulder, and a co-branded patch logo on the chest. Adding to the puffer line-up is a red gilet, also adorned with the tan shoulder patch feature and logo.
Elsewhere in the collection, bold prints in a sunset and purple hue are splashed across longer jackets and a shirt / shorts two piece. We’ve also spotted a selection of accessories, including caps, knit beanies and even a sneaker.
