Emily Oberg’s luxury lifestyle brand Sporty & Rich has collaborated with the high-end Parisian hotel Le Bristol. To celebrate, the two brands had a bougie dinner to kick off Paris Fashion Week.
The collection stems from Oberg’s time spent in the capital, where she would spend time at the establishment. “I fell in love with Hotel Le Bristol while visiting Paris for work. It has a special feeling of history and elegance that you can’t help but notice as you walk through the door,” she says.
The five-star hotel is located at 112 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris and is renowned for its architecture and state-of-the-art facilities. A series of collaborative pieces such as pyjamas and loungewear, velour tracksuits, cashmere sweatpants and crew-neck sweater vests will be released as part of the luxury link-up. Accompanying accessories include a travel-ready baseball cap and tote bag.
Sporty & Rich was founded in 2015 as a magazine and mood board, which housed the creative’s references. Eventually, this strong visual identity effortlessly expanded into a brand, which nods to vintage athleisure looks from the past. Think Princess Dianna going to the Gym or JFK Junior on vacation.
With its chic and stylish clientele, Le Hotel Bristol feels like a natural collaborator for Oberg’s brand, which serves as a mood board for an aspirational lifestyle. “The decor, staff and service each embody the true essence of luxury and, to us, the very meaning of Sporty & Rich,” Oberg explains. “We are honoured to team up with a brand as established and recognized as Le Bristol. In designing the collection, I wanted to create pieces that spoke to the hotel’s history.”
The Sporty & Rich x Le Bristol launch will be available from the pop-up and online from September 27.
