ISSEY MIYAKE’S WAY

Sow it and let it grow – this the mantra adopted by Issey Miyake’s AW/22 collection.
With the a focus on nature and vegetation in the wild, Miyake has toyed with the beauty of their unmanaged forms as the inspiration for this collection. This new series has been appropriately named “RHIZOME” – as the designer explores the direction of growth taken by roots and stems in the hunt for natural light. The collection features a seamless knit, made up of a woollen yarn which has a lightweight and airy finish.
Miyake has adaptation and personalisation in mind – allowing the wearer to morph this piece to fit a multitude of styles. The design maintains a series of openings, with these “root like” ensembles hanging loosely from its wearer and allowing itself to be wrapped around the neck or waist. The brand has been in collaboration with London based Filmaker and photographer Marcus Tomlinson, to bring us a selection of images and a film centring this collection – all of which accessible via the Issey Miyake website and social medias.
The collection will be available in early November – so mark your calendars and get ready to experience nature like you never have before.
COACH JOINS THE PRE-LOVED BANDWAGON

We have got a lot of love for the Coach(re)Loved program, and you can too…
Opened on the 27th of October, Coach is calling for a brighter, and more sustainable future with their first concept store “Tomorrow’s Vintage”. The concept is centered on a circular ecosystem – in which classic Coach pieces have been reimagined, restored and ready to be re-loved.
The store’s experience is set to be immersive, promoting the four pillars of Coach’s (re)Loved programme – Upcrafted, Vintage, Restored and Remade. The experience offers the chance to shop Coach (re)loved bags, alongside the chance to experience Coach’s Craftsmanship bar and collaborative interactions with visiting artists. That’s not all – if you are in the market to spruce up your home, the space will also feature repurposed furniture crafted by local designers.
With all this and so much more, it is an experience certainly worth the hype. The store is open now until the 16th of January and can be found at 4 market street, London. Get yourself there between 9am (10am on Sunday’s) to 6pm for the full (re)loved experience.
DIESEL: FUELLING THE PARTY

Berlin has again secured its status as the place to party – most recently playing host to the ultimate night out.
Diesel came together with Berlin’s fashion concept space Voostore to give attendees a night they will not soon forget. The duo took the wheel at Tabu Bar in West Berlin to curate a celebration of inclusivity and fashion. The guestlist was major – bringing together artists, sex workers and dancers, all united by the same fashionable cause. The event sought to promote the sentiment of sex-positivity, inclusivity and queer visibility.

KIKO’S FOUND HEAVEN WITH HEAVN

Actress Kiko Mizuhara is a supporter of all things heavenly – in fact, she’s found it, and you can find her in “kiko in heaven”.
The new zine release has been curated by photographer and filmmaker Alexandra Leese, giving us the chance to sneak a peak into Kiko’s world. The project catches the actress in moments of her most intimate self, exploring Tokyo and her favourite places, and is snapped alongside her favourite people and things. In all, it is a collection of images which allows us to indulge in a slice of Kiko’s heaven, while wearing Marx Jacob’s Heavn. What more could we want?
The zine is available now – so treat yourself this winter by heading over to the Marc Jacob’s website.
COMME DES GARÇONS FINDING A NEW BALANCE

The wait is finally over. Having revealed their subject of their collaboration earlier this year, the duo have answered our prayers and finally released the shoe of our dreams.
Comme Des Garçons have reworked the classic New Balance 550 and have finalised two makeups, and two colour-ways. The shoe’s colour story is simple, working with grey colour schemes which are the merged with black and white. The shoe maintains the classic New Balance branding – the “550” text and “N” logo are featured on the tongues and laterals correspondingly. Spotted on the sock liner and heel – the letters CdGH.
The collaborative sneaker is available now on the Dover Street Market
HAVE YOU GOT THE “KAKI”?

Notwoways have heard you, and with its audience always in mind, bring you a response to their “just white” sneaker. Introducing your feet’s new best friend: the “kaki” shoe.
Keeping things classic, notwoways have maintained their classic silhouette but this time, with a twist. The shoe incorporates “NTW orange”, alongside “capulet olive”, “onyx black” and, of course, “khaki green” – what a team. All of which appear on the nubuck uppers which have been tactically weatherised. The shoes tongue features the brand’s signature Paisley print in NTW orange. Notwoways want you to be comfortable – utilising the brand’s “perfected” recycled phylon midsole injection – which makes for their comfiest sneaker to date.
The comfort doesn’t end there, oh no, as the brands ensures wearers that they can be comfortable that the sneaker comes at little cost to the environment. The shoe’s meshing and rubber underlays on the sole have been recycled – offering you the chance to kick your sustainability into gear.
The “kaki” drops on the notwoways website on November 1st at 6pm (GMT) and is available in sizes 3-13.
GET TIPSY – GORILLAZ STYLE:

Smirnoff vodka and the musical madness of Gorillaz – what’s not to love?
A collaboration we were not expecting, but one we are so glad is here. Smirnoff has come together with Gorillaz to explore, salute and rework Smirnoff’s history – this time with a twist (and not just a twist of lemon). Four once classic cocktails have been reimagined by the duo, created alongside the chance to snap up limited edition bottles – curated by Gorillaz band members Murdoc, Russel, Noodle and 2D.
Sip yourself silly on Murdoc’s vodka Murdini or indulge in Russel’s Smirnoff Brooklyn – the member’s reimagining of the Manhattan. When asked to comment of the collaboration Murdoc explained: “Nothing to see here folks — just the OG vodka brand teaming up with the OG virtual band. Cheers Smirnoff — pleasure doing business with you! I’m not usually one for labels, but this is a beauty!”
To get your hands on, and lips around, the collaborative bottle, head over to Bar.com – but be speedy as the bottles dropped on the 27th.
