God Save the Quinn! Richard Quinn’s AW20 Show.
Music by: Cabaret Nocturne – Euphoria.
It’s Omo with CULTED.
Richard Quinn presented his AW20 Womenswear collection and the craftsmanship and show factor was once again turned up another notch. The show was titled ‘Dreamhouse’ and that was exactly what it was.
It opened with 2 beautifully crafted diamanté looks leaving jaws on the floor. Models were covered head-to-toe, including diamanté face masks.
One of our fav looks of the night, was the classic floral print dress, with the signature latex suit underneath. But let’s not forget to mention the full leather with the spikey studded mask.
The show was punk, camp, and costume-y, as Susie Bubble wrote “ I do like how Richard Quinn almost tips his House of Quinn London couture beyond the scale of grotesque.” She continued that the pearly diamante king and queen suits with ‘I love you’ and ‘God Save The Queen’ slogans really hammered in Quinn’s ‘Made in London’ mantra.
His work is always bold and emotive – and this show was no different.
In keeping with his signature style- we saw lots of large gowns that were paired with extravagant feather headpieces and bodies.
Honestly, this is one of the dreamiest shows we’ve seen so far this season. So guys, which looks did you like best from his collection?
