AXEL POPS UP IN PARIS
To commemorate the 170th anniversary of Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche, Axel Arigato has installed a 2-month pop up space within the renowned Paris store complete with a limited edition capsule collection, available exclusively at the location. The store opened earlier this week with signature shade of orange informing the retail space as well as the capsule, which sees organic cotton hoodies and t-shirts emblazoned with positive messaging around community, positivity and memorable experiences. Get your passport ready and catch it while you can!
DO CHORES IN STYLE WITH BYREDO
BYREDO has launched Byproduct 39 – the Chore Jacket. The piece is a limited-edition unisex jacket designed and made in collaboration with traditional workwear manufacturer Le Laboureur. The jacket is crafted from a blend of natural linen and cotton, designed for comfort, breathability and durability, and handmade in Le Laboureur’s factory located in the French village of Digoin in Burgundy. ON KICKS OFF THE US OPEN
The ROGER Clubhouse Mid is an iteration of THE ROGER Clubhouse and the first mid-top silhouette in the franchise that releases right on time for the US Open. The inspiration for the design draws on Roger’s early days as a ball-kid in the 90s when all tennis players wore mids or high-tops.
Parallel to the launch, a very limited RF2 Set lands on August 29th! The RF2 pack is a collaboration between Roger Federer and Kith founder Ronnie Fieg. The collaboration includes a double box that holds both a pair of THE ROGER Clubhouse Mid (rubbed in clay and signed by Roger and Ronnie) as well as a special edition of the Roger Pro in a fresh all white colour way, and a common logo reworked by Ronnie Fieg.
FIT FOR FALL WITH ALD
Aimé Leon Dore just launched their lookbook for their Fall / Winter 2022 collection, which as usual arrives in a wide variety of luxury and casual pieces suitable for any occasion – wool, cotton, fleece, tweed and down jackets are all featured. The collection also comes rich in accessories, tops and bottoms perfect to face the season and its varying climatic conditions. The collection is available now on the ALD website.
ROADMAN READY WITH CDG
Few have mastered the art of sneaker collaborations quite like COMME des GARÇONS – a recurring partner of the Swoosh. Together, Nike and CDG has a seriously impressive history of kicks within its archive covering a range of silhouettes and they’re not slowing down. Next up is a banger that we first saw on the CDG AW22 runway show earlier this year – every roadman’s favourite shoe, the Air Max 97. Coming in grey and black, this is a pair fit for all. Although no official release date has been given at this time, the hype is already starting.
