Limited to a scarce 25 pairs, Reebok’s latest linkup with South Korean visionary brand KANGHYUK sees the Classic Leather presented in a sustainable, futuristic means.
Constructed of recycled airbags and industrial polyamide, the sneaker is dressed in a monochromatic red, with the abundance of creases, seams and stitching making for a unique texture across the shoe. While Reebok branding is removed, we can still make out a Vector logo on the lateral midfoot and characteristic midsole that is so recognisably the Classic Leather. This somewhat serves as a follow up to last year’s efforts which saw the collaborators come together to release 50 pairs of airbag-built Zig Kinetica sneakers, and a new addition to a flourishing, boundary-pushing partnership between east and west.
The KANGHYUK x Reebok Classic Leather SRS is set to release exclusively at DSM London on August 6 at $340.
