Raf Simons yesterday announced his self curated online shop, titled ‘History of my World’. In a statement, the Belgian designer said it will act as a “multidisciplinary platform offering a curation of pieces selected by Raf Simon”, also adding that the site “reflects the designer’s point of view, aesthetic and philosophy”.
The name comes from a title which Simons first used for his 10th-anniversary collection in 2005. The Belgian designer has already announced his first collection on the site, the ‘teenage dream’, a collection of 45 unique blankets. These one-of-a-kind pieces have been designed and produced by the Raf Simon studio in Antwerp, ranging from £1395 ($1895) to £1980 ($2690).
The retail platform also features other products including an apothecary candle set, as well as books written by Raf Simons, including ‘Isolated Heroes’, ‘Raf Simons Redux’ and Woe Onto Those’.
When making a purchase on the site, one can even request a personal handwritten inscription from the legendary Belgian designer. But hurry up, as around half of the products on the site have already sold out.
The full collection can be found on the History of my World website.
