Music By: CjOnTheBeat – Dark Hours.
It’s CULTED here to help you through the boredom of quarantine.
Welcome to the first episode of our new 4 part series of shows, documentaries, films and top runways you could be watching while stuck at home!
First off, we’re diving into our top 5 fashion tv series to binge-watch.
In at number 5 we have Next in Fashion.
The Netflix original features 18 designers who pair up to compete for a cash prize of $250,000. Hosted by Tan France and Alexa Chung, each week the designers are tasked with creating new looks for a unique weekly runway show.
In at number 4 we have Ugly Betty.
The show centres around Betty Suarez who lands a job at the world’s best fashion magazine, despite not being the usual candidate. Now, some of the jokes haven’t aged well, but the show is just too good not to include on here.
Next up, in number 3 is Pose.
Based in New York during the 80s and 90s, the series centres around the African-American and Latino LGBT and gender nonconforming ballroom scene. And night after night these ballroom babes are turning some serious looks.
Our number 2 spot is taken by The Assassination of Gianni Versace.
The American crime stories series follows the murderer of Gianni Versace. The first episode starts with a bang, and continues to unfold slowly. Stunning cinematography, and plenty to gasp about, the show is a must see!
In at number 1 we have the iconic Absolutely Fabulous.
Ab Fab follows bumbling fashion PR agent Edina Monsoon, as she chases bizarre fads in an attempt to stay young. She’s joined by her partner in crime Patsy Stone, a drug addicted magazine fashion director who may be one of the greatest characters of all time.
And that’s it for our top 5 tv shows – thank you for watching guys!
Stay tuned for episode 2 featuring the best fashion films.
