PUMA’s latest partnership comes in collaboration with Australian skate brand Butter Goods, and sees the duo issue a Basket VTG perfect for Summer ‘21, arriving as part of a nostalgia-heavy collection. The Basket VTG – a silhouette very similar to the likes of the PUMA Clyde, Suede and so on – is here draped in a cream corduroy upper broken up with PUMA’s signature branding on the midfoot.
The aim with the colourway is for the end user to customise the pair through dip-dyeing; the lookbook showcases the sneaker in a spectrum of colours, with the cord upper picking up pigment from any dyes perfectly. The PUMA x Butter Goods Basket VTG releases June 24 alongside a co-branded T-shirt, through select PUMA retailers worldwide, as well as the Butter Goods webstore.
